    Description

    Description
    This is an amazing door that was salvaged from a Pittsburgh post office.
    It is made of rosewood and is unpainted.
    The upper and lower flat panels are framed in nice flush moldings on both sides.
    There are carvings on both sides between the panels.
    One side has 2 angel heads surrounded by vines and leaves with a central embellishment.
    The other side hasfloral carvings with a central embellishment.
    Most hardware will need to be replaced.
    It measures just over 35
    inches wide by 79.75 inches tall and 1.75 inches thick.
    Overall, it is in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as it is antique. It could use a good cleaning. Please look at  the pictures carefully.

    About Us
    My salvage business was born of necessity in 1993 when I started restoring an old Victorian home that had seen better days. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job!
