Hanging down is a silver over copper metal star charm, although the charm has lost much of its silver plating, revealing the copper underneath from afe and wear. The front has a glittering group of
Austrian crystal rhinestones that are so brilliant, they are reflecting rainbow hues on the ceiling of our office as we type this.
The red and white glass beads have a "carved" look to them. The red and white polka dot beads are textured as the white dots are indented in the red glazed glass beads. The navy blue beads  have white stars on them and the smaller white glass beads are plain framing the others perfectly.
The beads are still strung on their original old elastic stretchy cord, which we highly recommend you have re-strung before wearing for extra safety.
This bracelet has recently been photographed to appear in two new books being written about costume jewelry props from TV shows and movies and Collectibles owned by the stars of Hollywood.
During the early research for these books, the author had the rare opportunity to meet and interview Elizabeth Montgomery who was actually wearing this bracelet during their first meeting which took place on Memorial Day weekend in the 1980s. According to Elizabeth Montgomery, this bracelet dates back to the third season of Bewitched,  "Samantha and I were very lucky since we had similar taste in clothing and costume jewelry and we could share items" I collect old Americana jewelry and antiques, and wore this on Bewitched when I received it as a gift from co-star Paul Lyned as a birthday present during the 3rd series of the show. Paul knew how American I was and how much I loved to collect Americana stuff. He was a fun frie d for many years, even after we finished the series.

After her untimely death, this piece and others like it were sold to our client at the yard sale held on her estate in June of 1999. It was found inside a Bewitched prop purse along with other prop jewelry she wore on the show.  Our client knew the star personally since she lived in the neighborhood and actually worked on Bewitched in props and wardrobe and remembered seeing Elizabeth wearing it. All these years later, she has kept the piece in her prestigious collection, having loaned it to several Hollywood themed museums, including one owned by Debbie Reynolds.
