Leedy Snare Drum Or Tom Tone Control No 8092 Chrome Plating Worldwide Shipping

Greetings!
This muffler came off a 7” tall by 11” diameter...early 1940s ...Leedy tacked bottom head tom that was in rough shape...
It was missing the tension knob.....so,I improvised..buy ordering a chrome knob that would work ....off eBay...
There were 2 version of Leedy mufflers from this period....a short one ..and long one...
THIS IS THE LONGER VERSION........will work on a 6.5” by 14” Leedy snare....or..7 by 11 Tom....
MAYBE others?....10 by 14.....12 by 15?....Not sure...
I started to put a thread inside the hole,but...to do correctly would call for a vice to clamp it in..of which I dont have....
I threaded it in around 3/8” ..but...was as far as I could get....
You will need to drill/tap around  another 3/8” to complete..
Easy if you have a vice to use.......
Someone painted the drum..and got a little red paint on the muffler (shown) ..
I will pack this up good....
