    This is a 25" wax doll called "Manon". She was made in 1984 by Feguimel. Absolutely gorgeous was face with blue eyes and inset eyelashes. Redhead with wax arms and legs on a soft body. This is a one of a kind artist doll and she is magnificent. It looks like she is made with wax over porcelain, but I could be wrong. The was gives her an ethereal lifelike quality. Her dress is made of the sheerest cotton batiste with lace trim and gathers everywhere. Lots of white satin ribbons too. Her slip and pantalets are made of the same lace trimmed sheer cotton batiste. Her wax feet are incredibly detailed. Her wig feels like human hair. She was kept in a glass case, so there are NO stains, tears, or odors. All I can say is wow!
