Description
This is an early 1900's tin golf pin marker in the shape of a heart. These were used prior to the use of flags to mark where the golf hole was located on a green. This particular one was on a "pitch and put" course or a putting green or possibly an early "Mini Golf" course as it is a par 2 hole. The heart is cut out of tin and the post in iron to stick into the bottom of the cup. Love this orange color and wonderful old surface. The pin stands 28 1/4" long and 6 3/8" wide and is in wonderful condition.
