VTG Czech Hoffman Intaglio Ice Block Ashtray Antique Golfer Center Shaft Putter

Hoffman Glass Czech Bohemian art glass circa 1920-30's. Very cool (pun intended) ashtray made out of an "ice block" of art carved or intaglio crystal. The golfer is studying his putt with deep concentration, using his 'center shafted putter' to line up the hole. These putters were used late 1892 and a little later. There are just not many artistic items out there for cigarette smokers. It used to be, that smokers had very fine art objects to choose from to adorn their coffee tables. Few and far between. Approx. 4.25 x 4.25 x 1.5" H. The 2 cig stations are rather slender. Perfect for hand rolled, or mechanical cigarettes.
